- Don’t sit down. Don’t stand in the corner. Stand somewhere near the dance floor or band. Get into the music a little bit. Don’t dance by yourself or
anything, just enjoy the music, maybe move a little.
- Look around. Look at who is there. Look and see which women are with other women, which are with other men, which are by themselves. If you make eye
contact with someone who appears to not be with another guy, after a brief glance, look away. She probably will too. Count to about 10. Look back. Count to about 30; if she
looks back, just smile a little. If she smiles back, or does anything positive, there is about a 90% chance she wouldn’t mind meeting you.
